more than one Hawaii island is by air travel.
Hawaii attractions include the natural beauty of the islands, beaches, and
volcanoes, and the Pearl Harbor Memorial is on the 'must see' list. Tourists are
draw to Hawaii from every continent because word has gotten around about the

Hawaiian people, and the abundance of wildlife just offshore. From hardcore
surfers and scuba divers to snorkel and fins or jet ski fans, all sorts of
tourists prefer air Hawaii travel to reach their destinations in the shortest
time possible.
Because of anti-terrorism security measures implemented at nearly all
airports, and because air Hawaii travel is so universally popular, expect long
lines at crowded international airports throughout the world when waiting to
board a flight. Although there is a wide variety of airline choices available to
you, it is likely that all air Hawaii travel will take longer than expected.
Aloha and Hawaiian Airlines are the two best choices for trips from island
to island. They both have tour packages with which you fly to all the major Hawaiian
islands you want. They make ticket sales very easy with options of using a travel agent,
or you can purchase their tickets in local 7-Eleven stores, or from ATMs in
Hawaii. What a convenience!
An example of a typical air Hawaii travel package is the 7 Day Island Pass
sold by Aloha Airlines. With this package you get unlimited air travel for one
whole week and you can visit as many of the islands as you like a short time. The
7 Day Island Pass package goes to all destinations served by Aloha Airlines or its affiliate, Island Air.
Here are a few things you should know about island
hopping by air Hawaii travel:
- If you book early you can choose your preferred seats and get a better
deal than those who wait. Online booking is available at both of the major
Hawaiian airlines.
- Cheaper rates are available when you fly on weekdays.
- You can use frequent flyer miles to save a lot of money, and they cover island-hopping
air Hawaii travel too.
- The six main Hawaiian islands (Hawaii, the big island; Kauai, Lanai, Maui,
Molokai and Oahu) are covered in most air Hawaii travel tour packages.
Hawaii, the Big Island
Hawaii is the biggest island in the Hawaiian island chain. A large array of tourist oriented activities abound especially for outdoor adventurers.
Kauai
Hawaii calls Kauai the 'Garden Island' because of the many flowered tropical rainforests, scenic mountain views, and breathtaking waterfalls.
Lanai
Lanai offers the most authentic view of Hawaiian culture and doesn't have
much commercial development.
Maui
Maui is known as the 'Valley Island' because it is one the Hawaii
islands split in half by the remnants of two volcanoes. Both sides of Maui island have
unique tourist destinations and sights.
Molokai Island
Molokai is similar to Lanai in that tourists see a rare glimpse of authentic Hawaiian culture
here. This island has scenic waterfalls and rainforests, and the beaches here
are least crowded. Like Lanai, Molokai does not have much development so native
culture is more preserved.
Oahu
The capital of Hawaii is located on Oahu and the island is renowned for surfing and sport fishing
opportunities.
Even with this very brief overview of each of the main islands of the
Hawaiian island chain, maybe you can understand how hard it is to choose just one island to see on your
Hawaii travel adventure. When you find an airline package that fits your
personal island-hopping travel needs in Hawaii, you'll understand that it's so
much better to use air Hawaii travel to see the islands and get about without
great difficulty
